The building has been restored and now has two main exhibits: One of the exhibits contains historical documents and reports on the activities of Baron Rothschild. The second tells about archaeological finds discovered during excavations in the historic port of Tel Dor, as well as find from the sea. The museum holds a large collection of anchors, amphorae and pottery. On permanent exhibition at the Museum, you can see finds concerning the ancient harbor at Dor, Napoleon in Dor, Christians in Dor, the underwater dig, glass from sea sand, dreams of glass, windows to daily life, wars in Dor, and Dor, Ruler of the Seas. The museum also houses changing displays. |
